For transportation, profiles of various lengths should be arranged into loads bound with wooden crates, metal straps, and ropes in such a way that, during binding, appropriate wooden wedges and edge protectors are used to avoid damage or deformation of the profiles. For moving the bundles, straps or rubberized lifting ropes should be used, and for longer loads (over 8-10m), it is advisable to use a lifting beam. For moving the loads, a forklift is recommended for shorter lengths, while a crane (truck-mounted crane) is suggested for longer bundles.

The hot-dip galvanized steel profiles must be protected on-site from contaminants, aggressive, corrosive, and damp materials, construction materials (raw concrete, lime, mortar, soil, acids, chemicals, high-salinity materials, etc.), as well as from other metals that can cause contact corrosion with zinc (e.g., copper, lead).
